The breakfast selection was satisfactory with fresh pastries.
While the location was decent, I found it disappointing as it was not as close to Vatican City as advertised. The showers were cramped. I could hear noises from the neighboring room, which interrupted my sleep occasionally.

Fab central location right by Vatican, Piazza Navona, Pantheon and other sights in Rome, and many monuments, shops and restaurants. Besides, The Palazzo was 2 km away from the property. We had a large room where central heating, a flat screen TV, and a writing desk were available. The breakfast was plentiful and sensational with cheese, buns, yogurts and the restaurant food was freshly made...
The staff - some of them were not so helpful.

comfort in the heart of Rome
Each morning, the fragrant aroma of fresh pastries filled the air, while the tranquil atmosphere allowed for restful nights despite being steps away from major attractions.
This minor inconvenience did not overshadow the nice experience overall.

The location is excellent, literally by Castel Sant'Angelo with 2 minutes' walk to Piazza Cavour with many busses. It's a small family- owned business, good size rooms with comfortable beds and a desk, and a small fridge/minibar. Big bathroom with shower niche (which was not too large but fine for us). The rooms were cleaned every day. The owner Stefano was extremely nice, helpful and friendly, and so was one of the breakfast ladies. The other reception staff were friendly and helpful too. The room has a safe which was great. We didn't hear any noise from the other rooms but we could hear the reception if they spoke loudly on the phone, but it wasn't a problem. The hotel entrance is within a courtyard that is locked at night and on Sundays, but you just ring the bell and they will open the gate + the front door for you. Two pieces of advice: Take the sti Shuttle Bus from Fiumincino airport instead of the train to Termini/Trastevere. The Shuttle Bus stops right by Piazza Cavour, a 2 minute walk from the hotel and takes some 50 minutes. Secondly, note that Google maps has the wrong location of this address - it is on the upper right side of the pentagon that is Piazza Adriana, not on the left side as Google says! There is a sign on the sidewalk and you will find the hotel in the middle entrance of what looks like (and is) a large apartment building. All in all we thought it was great value for money and would stay there again in a heartbeat.
Though the rooms were cleaned every day to perfection, the towels were not changed for 8 nights which would have been nice. One of the breakfast staff seemed like she hated her job - she wasn't rude and she did her job, but she didn't even respond when we said good morning! The breakfast was nothing much but what you'd expect from a country like Italy where they don't have large breakfast. The breakfast area is very small as mentioned, so you would have to wait if you come to have breakfast at the same time as everyone else, but we didn't see that as a problem. The fridge was only set to cool at around 15 degrees so food wouldn't keep for more than a day or too, but I suppose it is only intended for drinks anyway. Also, a second chair for the desk would have been nice (there's just one).

Always ready with fresh croissants and coffee in the quaint lounge. Just a short stroll to all the top attractions (Pantheon nearby!).
A larger shower space would be more comfortable.

Staying at this B&B with my sister and kids was a delight! We loved the cozy triple room and the friendly vibe. Each morning, we enjoyed fresh croissants and coffee while planning our adventures. The location was super convenient for exploring nearby attractions like the Vatican, only a short walk away.
In my wife's opinion, a larger shower would have been great for families.
